Artful Health

Therapeutic art lessons promote mental health & wellness

All ages. Available for:

  • Our Studio Students

  • Behavioral Health Hospitals

  • Foster Care Facilities

  • Schools

While illustrating each project’s theme, students focus their minds on healthy thoughts and actions. Themes such as Grow Kindness, Spread Sunshine, and Bee Nice encourage development of good character traits that foster healthy relationships. Other themes lift the student’s spirit, including Happy Thoughts, Wish Upon a Star, and Count Your Blessings. The Emotional Color Wheel helps students express feelings and create moods within their artwork. Incorporating words and lettering teaches them another way to use art as a communication tool or emotional processing tool. Displaying their final work of art provides a daily reminder of the theme and is an effective method of countering negative thoughts with positive images and emotions.

We also travel to local facilities and provide all materials. If you need funding, we may apply for a grant.
